Scope of works:
Lego embarked on a restructure of its’ European Headquarters in Slough. The aim was to consolidate all teams within one-half of the building and relinquish the remaining space back to the landlord.
Insight was asked to re-design the south wing in order to accommodate all of Lego’s staff and carry out a full refurbishment and move management process of a 120 seat call centre.
Key elements of the project were the re-use of all existing glazed partitions, doors and storage wall, IT installation and IT equipment relocation. 120 workstations required careful dismantling and rebuilding which was carried out over a five-night move programme.
Lego’s corporate colours were applied throughout the space creating a light and inspiring workplace for the staff.
Since the above project, Insight has carried out further refurbishment works to the First and Ground floor, allowing for Lego to extend their offices, due to company growth.
