Scope of works:
On completion of the first phase design and fit-out project in Maidenhead, Insight focused on the second phase of Business Objects’ relocation into Building E at the new Ealing Studios complex.
To ensure integration with the base building and its’ structure, skilled cutting and aligning was required to fit the partition walls around the ceiling mounted chilled beams, structural steels and underside of the upper floor slab.
Other works included a new power and data cabling installation within the floor void; additional air- conditioning to suit cellular spaces; a disabled shower room; the application of bright colours to glazing manifestation, painted walls and carpet inserts, together with a large interactive break-out area housing a 50” plasma screen and Nintendo Wii console.
