Lego embarked on a re-structuring of it’s European Headquarters, Slough in Jan 09. The aim was to consolidate all teams within one half of their building and relinquish the remaining space back to the landlord.
Insight was asked to re-deisgn the south wing in order to accomodate all of Lego’s staff and carry out a full re-furbishment and move management process of a 120 person call centre.
Key elements to the project were the re-use of all exisitng glazed partitions, doors and storage wall, a detailled IT installation and a carefully planned workstation and IT equipment relocation. All 120 existing workstations required careful dismantling and rebuilding which was phased over a 5 night move process.
Lego’s corporate colours were applied throughout the space creating a light and inspiring workplace for the staff.
