Following the successful fit-out and relocation of Mewburn Ellis’ Bristol office in 2007, Insight was appointed to evaluate prospective office space for the London office relocation, from which Abacus House, within the City of London was selected.
Insight advised Mewburn Ellis on the use of space and the level of cost associated with the CatA works, which the anchor tenant was contributing towards.
The fit-out specification was agreed using a combination of modern and traditional materials, in conjunction with the installation of a replacement raised floor and enhanced environmental services. Mewburn Ellis specified a high content of cellular office space for their Fee Earners as well as open plan admin accommodation, client facing meeting rooms suite, reception, documents handling facility and staff breakout area.
The project was carried out over a 12 week period and encompassed the refurbishment of the male and female toilet facilities (as a variation to the contract), without the client incurring an extension to the programme.
