National Association of Pension Funds

October 2010

NAPF speaks for 1,200 pension schemes with some 15 million members and assets of around £800 billion. Following their decision to relocate from Westminster, Insight completed the new offices of NAPF at Cheapside House on budget and ahead of programme.

Insight has extensive experience of Cheapside House, having previously carried out works there for Xodus Group. This building knowledge assisted with eliminating project risk, avoiding unnecessary costs being incurred and ensuring rapid design development.

The design includes a wonderfully upgraded Boardroom consisting of a sliding / folding wall, with acoustic baffles and extensive bespoke furniture. Also included in the specification were significant works to the mechanical services, providing a supplemental fresh air system to the meeting suite to cater for large conferences.

Rowan Montague-Smith Insights Senior Designer, commented,

"From our appointment, NAPF were keen to create a new open and modern look for their workspace and members alike. The design development stage was well executed. We developed the clients' existing branding and applied it to the work area, giving a modern and contemporary look to a firm used to a far older space in Westminster."
